S.C. governor says Confederate flag must be moved from Capitol grounds

South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley today reversed her position and called for the Confederate flag to be moved from the grounds of the state Capitol.

The move comes after nine people were gunned down last week at a historic black church in Charleston in what authorities have said is a hate crime.

Haley now joins a growing list of state and national political leaders and civil rights activists who say the flag is a racist symbol.
