Two men were jailed for 15 years for raping a teen boy in a Manchester Debenhams toilet.
Two men were jailed for 15 years for raping a 14-year-old boy in a Manchester toilet today (6 June).
Alex Wilson-Fletcher, 41, and Abdelkader El-Janabi, 55, attacked the boy in a British department store in June last year.
The teen had told police he was marched by two men into a Debenhams where he was assaulted in the bathroom.
As the BBC reports, Manchester Crown Court heard El-Janabi was a former intelligence officer in Saddam Hussein’s Iraqi regime.
While sentencing, Judge Michael Leeming said: ‘In all probability, what you did to him in his formative years will stay with him.
‘Neither of you thought of that at the time. You were more concerned with your own sexual gratification.’
The pair were convicted by a jury of two counts of rape and two counts of sexual assault following a nine day trial in April.
Greater Manchester Police arrested the two men last August.
