Palestinian prisoner faints in court

RAMALLAH, (PIC)– Palestinian prisoner Sami Najjar fainted in Ofer court after suffering acute chest pain, his lawyer Ahmed Safiya said on Tuesday.
He said that Najjar, who has been in custody since start of the year, fainted after the court judge decided to renew his administrative detention, without trial or charge, for six more months.
The lawyer said that an ambulance car transferred the detainee to hospital and his court hearing came to a halt.
