Police in the Scottish county of Ayrshire have launched an investigation after a young man's body was found burnt and dumped at the side of a road.
Stuart Walker, 28, from Cumnock, was found dead with "horrible injuries" near Caponacre Industrial Estate, Cumnock, just before 5am on Saturday.
News reports suggest that he was tied to a lamppost before being beaten and set on fire.
Strathclyde Police are investigating the possibility he was attacked because of his sexuality.
The victim, who had been out socialising with friends, was last seen alive near the fire station in Glaisnock Street at about 2:30am. Detectives are now monitoring CCTV footage and are investigating whether local house parties may be linked to their enquiries.

A memorial page on social networking site Facebook, entitled R.I.P. Stuart Walker, has already attracted nearly 5,000 'likes' from mourners.

One person, Lauren Graham, wrote: "R.I.P Stuart... only ever met you once but you were an amazing person...
