Israeli officer stabbed in Jerusalem, the stabber seriously injured

An Israeli officer of the border guards was seriously injured on Sunday morning after a Palestinian stabbed him in Occupied Jerusalem.
The stabber was identified as Mohammad Abu
Hasirah, 18, from al-Khalil. There were conflicting reports over the
condition of the stabber as the Israeli media sources revealed that he
died of his severe wounds. Later on, the sources confirmed that he is
undergoing a surgery in Hadassah Hospital in Occupied Jerusalem.
Israeli sources claimed that a Palestinian
young man stabbed an Israeli officer in the neck near Damascus gate in
Occupied Jerusalem leading to serious injuries.
The stabbed officer was able to shoot the
Palestinian man and later on he entered a state of clinical death. The
Palestinian stabber got injured seriously as well, the sources added.
Israeli forces immediately closed the gate and started attacking Palestinians there.
The Israeli TV Channel 2 revealed that an
Israeli force of the border guards and Shin Bet rushed to the scene for
investigation purposes.
The chairman of the municipality of occupied
Jerusalem Nir Barkat arrived at the location to get first hand
information on the incident.
The operation is the second in 48 hours after
the killing of a Jewish settler and the injury of another in a shooting
incident in western Ramallah last Friday without capturing the shooter.
