Smallest Nation on Earth Now Has Marriage Equality
A gay wedding may be in store for this country of 56 people.

The Pitcairn Islands, the smallest country in the world in terms of population, legalized same-sex marriage for its 56 residents last month.
The British territory consists of four volcanic islands in
the south Pacific Ocean; only the second-biggest, Pitcairn, is actually
inhabited. LGBT adventurers now have a good reason to make the arduous
journey to Pitcairn since they can get wed there; the island already has
a relatively-thriving tourism industry.
Pitcairn residents are the descendents of the original
mutineers of the British ship The Bounty, as well as Tahitians who
traveled on The Bounty. The island was one of the first of the British
territories to legalize women's suffrage.
