FOX’s Benghazi Inquisitor Endorses Obama Assasination, Accuses Clinton of Murder

FOX’s Benghazi Inquisitor Endorses Obama Assasination, Accuses Clinton of Murder

by Richard Rowe
\Michael Scheuer is an adjunct professor at Georgetown University's Center for Peace and Security Studies, and testified before the House Homeland Security Committee on October 9th.  As a former CIA officer, Scheuer's been in the belly of the beast for a long time, and has for just as long been spewing his own brand of right-wing rhetoric at FOX "News" viewers. Now, he's gone from simple "BENGHAZZIIII!!!!" enthusiast to full-on terrorist mouthpiece.
Last week, Scheuer called for the assassination of President Obama in his weekly column. The subject was standard fare for Scheuer: "the Islamists' war on America." He had this to say.
[box type="shadow"]As they head further down the road of losing wars and wrecking Anglo-American liberties, Messrs Obama and Cameron and their supporters in all parties would do well to read the words of the great 17th century English republican Algernon Sidney, a man who was revered on both sides of the Atlantic, who greatly influenced America's founders, and who was executed by the British Crown for what it described as sedition. "There must therefore be a right," Sidney wrote:
"...of proceeding judicially or extra-judicially against all persons who transgress the laws; or else those laws, and the societies that should subsist by them, cannot stand; and the ends for which governments are constituted, together with the governments themselves, must be overthrown. ... If he [a political leader] be justly accounted an enemy of all, who injures all; he above all must be the public enemy of a nation, who by usurping power over them, does the greatest and most public injury that a people can suffer. For which reason, by an established law among the most virtuous nations, every man might kill a tyrant; and no names are recorded in history with more honor, than of those who did it.[/box]
Amazingly, private citizen Scheuer sees no irony whatsoever in using a public forum to advocate for assassination of a democratically elected official, while accusing SOMEONE ELSE of treason and sedition. Remember ..."professor."
Since then, Scheuer has amped up the polemic even more, appearing on the always-objective Lou Dobbs show to add his right hand in what might best be described as a "circle jerk of corporate toolery." Invoking vivid imagery of "Hillary Clinton having blood up to her elbows," in the Benghazi matter, on the basis that "anyone who limits counterterrorism funding is directly responsible for the murder of Americans."
Oh, yes. Indeed. Like Republican Joe Amash, who after the Snowden leaks attempted to pass a bill that would shut down and defund about 90% of the NSA? You know, the agency directly responsible for counterterrorism.
In a sense, you have to wonder why Scheuer has such deliberate hatred toward Democrats as a whole, and Obama and Clinton in particular. Surely, a distinguished professor and objective witness like he has no personal stake in divisive politics, or pandering to the right wing on FOX. There's really no point in him riding the Benghazi horse to death, it's not as though he's a Koch-funded politician.
Oh yes, that's right. He's not a Koch-funded politician, he's a Koch-funded PROFESSOR. Yes indeed, Scheuer's department was one of the many at the Catholic Georgetown University to directly benefit from the Koch Brothers' unexpected, million-dollar grant about three weeks ago.
You were speaking of treason, sir?
